What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. The captain has final authority on all weather decisions. If conditions are unsafe, you receive a full refund or free reschedule — your choice. You are never penalized for weather cancellations. See our full Weather Policy for details.
How does pricing work?
You see the full price upfront — base charter rate, captain fee (if applicable), and any add-ons. No hidden fees or fuel surcharges.
Do I need to bring my own captain?
It depends on the booking mode. Captain-included charters come with a professional captain. For bareboat charters, you choose a captain from our verified network or bring your own.
What is the cancellation policy?
Each vessel listing specifies one of three cancellation tiers — Flexible, Moderate, or Strict — which determines the refund windows. Full refund windows range from 7 days (Flexible) to 30 days (Strict) before departure. Partial refunds (50%) apply within a shorter window, and no refund applies close to departure. The platform service fee is non-refundable for renter-initiated cancellations. A 24-hour grace period applies to all new bookings. See our full Cancellation Policy.
How many people can I bring?
Capacity varies by vessel, from 6 to 50+ guests. Each listing shows maximum capacity, which is set by USCG safety standards — no exceptions.
Is alcohol allowed on board?
Yes, on most charters. BYOB is typically permitted. Some vessels offer catering packages that include beverages. Check individual vessel policies for details.
