REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT POLICY
Operational Guidelines for Reviews and User Submissions
This policy describes the operational criteria for reviews and ratings posted on the Platform. It supplements but does not replace the user-content licensing terms in the Terms of Service § 13.
Review Criteria
We may provide you areas on the Services to leave reviews or ratings. When posting a review, you must comply with the following criteria:
- You should have firsthand experience with the person/entity being reviewed.
- Your reviews should not contain offensive profanity, or abusive, racist, offensive, or hateful language.
- Your reviews should not contain discriminatory references based on religion, race, gender, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, or disability.
- Your reviews should not contain references to illegal activity.
- You should not be affiliated with competitors if posting negative reviews.
- You should not make any conclusions as to the legality of conduct.
- You may not post any false or misleading statements.
- You may not organize a campaign encouraging others to post reviews, whether positive or negative.
Moderation Rights and Review License
We may accept, reject, or remove reviews in our sole discretion. We have absolutely no obligation to screen reviews or to delete reviews, even if anyone considers reviews objectionable or inaccurate. Reviews are not endorsed by us, and do not necessarily represent our opinions or the views of any of our affiliates or partners. We do not assume liability for any review or for any claims, liabilities, or losses resulting from any review. By posting a review, you hereby grant to us a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, assignable, and sublicensable right and license to reproduce, modify, translate, transmit by any means, display, perform, and/or distribute all content relating to review.
For confidential, enterprise, or invite-only bookings, the broader review-publication license is subject to the confidentiality limitations described in the Terms of Service § 14. Where a booking, event, or account is designated as confidential, we may suppress reviews, social prompts, public galleries, or public ticketing features for those bookings.
FTC Fake-Reviews Rule Compliance
Consistent with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission Fake Reviews and Testimonials Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 465, effective October 21, 2024), the Platform does not generate, publish, or facilitate the publication of fake or AI-fabricated reviews. Reviews must reflect a reviewer's firsthand experience with the actual booking, vessel, captain, or service. Material misrepresentation in a review may result in removal of the review and suspension of the reviewer's account.
